After two visits to Bosnia I have grown to love and respect the people of this war torn country, especially the children and youth. Gornji Vakuf is a small town in SW Bosnia that is full of loving people that I continue to keep in touch with. I would love to move there! Along with others from NC, we have volunteered for two summers working with children and youth in the UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) youth center. The kids have all been so loving and receptive and they seem to reflect the great people of that country. I have also visited Serajevo, Zeneca, Travnic, and other cities, and Bosnia was once such a beautiful country. My prayers are always with you and I hope there is peace.
