Peace be upon my brothers and Sisters,
My name is Sajed and I am currently an Engineering student at the University
of Texas at Austin. Many students like myself in the United States are eager
to utilize our skills in engineering, computer sciences, etc, to help our
brothers and sisters in Bosnia. I am sure that there must be quite a need
for people trained in technical fields to help reconstruct your country. I am
trying to set up a service whereby Muslim students like myself will be able
to spend several months in Bosnia in "internships" or other technical areas
where our technical knowledge will be helpful. As Muslims, we would be
willing to work in these positions for only room , board or whatever...our
main purpose would be to utilize the skills we have learned at university
for the sake of Allah. I have already talked with the relevant offices here at
the University, and they have agreed to send information to any engineer or
engineering firm who is willing to oversee the operations of a student-level
engineer while they are on this work term. If we get a network like this
working, I am sure, by the will of Allah, that there will be many students
like myself from all over the U.S.A. who would respond and give their skilled
labour for nothing but the pleasure of Allah. Would any such engineers or
other agency please respond to my e-mail or contact me soon:

To The citizens of Sarajevo,
My name is Benjamin Jones and I am an
American looking for information on
John Jordan. He is an American who
has given a great deal of his time, money
fortune and blood to keep the
Sarajevo fire department alive and going during
the worst of the fighting.
Since November of 1992 he has been working with
your fire department
getting trucks, equipment, fuel, and other supplies past
the war lines.
If you know of him or can send me information on the impact he has made
for
your city please send me a note. I am trying to get Mr. Jordan some of
the
recognition he deserves. He is truly an extrordinary man. Feel free
to e-mail
me if possible or use the address below. Thanks a lot and I
wish you the best
in your future peace.
Best wishes,
Benjamin Jones
