Dear Bosnia Children, Here in America we've been
learning about the Holocaust. From what I've been hearing I feel deeply
sorry for you.It feels like it's happening all over again.I'm sure it's
horrible to know that you may be killed or to see some of your loved ones
be killed too.And I know that if I was put through the same situation I
would be scared.Very scared!I hope you will survive and stay very well.I
wish you all the luck I can give.will you please write back to me and let
me know how everything is going and if you want to know more about me.

Dear Bosnia Childern
Here in America we have studied about the Holocaust that was going on in
World War 2.To me it seems horrible that it is happening all over again. But
most of all I feel bad for you. It's so horrible to see someone you love and
care for get killed right in front of you.Has that ever happened to you?
Did you witness the beginning of the massacre?Just to see somebody get hit
hurts me so I don't think I could see somebody get shot or beaten. If you do
write back please tell about what you know!
Sincerely, Danielle Seijas

The following is a student letter:
Dear Bosnian People,
Many people thought another holocust couldn't happen, they were very
very wrong. This is not a religious war but systematic genocide. We have
been studying about the holocaust in Europe. Many Americans haven't even
thought of this as a holocaust. The Serbians have no respect of any kind
of peace in the world. Ethnic cleansing hs no place in a civilized world.
Every country in the world should rise up and crush the serbian army.
Where you a witness to the Tuzia massacre? Please write back.
Sincerely,
Eric Evans

The following is a student letter:
Dear Bosnia Children,
I would like to offer a word of encouragement to
you and your families for the coming challenges. Your message has been felt
in my school room. We have gone on line to find out information about your
situation. Like you have stated you are in the same position as Anne Frank.
You are held hostage in your own country and forced to live in fear
spoiling your childhood an unredeemable token of your life. Your message by
itself may not be enough to reach the people you need to reach. Your
situation identically matches that of Anne Frank, the fear of being sent
away from home, friends, and family. You are only the first if the fascist
army is not stopped. I believe that my country will not let this happen.
The American ideals will not let this happen.
We have been studing about Anne Frank in our
English classes. I would like to chat with you online but the hours are a
little awkward. Maybe you could e-mail me the answers to my questions
1. Have any of your friends been killed?
2. How does the war affect your education?
3. Does it limit the time you can spend on line
4. What can we do to help?
Concerned,
Mark Evans
