O ICRC MP* programu
(* ICRC = Medjunarodni komitet crvenog krizza/krsta
MP = izgubljene osobe )
publikaciji su navedene generalije izgubljene osobe i mjesto i
vrijeme kada je osoba zadnji put vidjena..."
Ako ICRC zaista sstampa tako ssiroke liste izgubljenih osoba,
inicijativi ICRC-a.
Hvala unaprijed. -- Ed
ps - Cijela poruka ICRC-a (na engleskom) bicce uskoro
proslijedjena.

About the ICRC MP program
As promised, here is late news about the missing-persons project
of ICRC in fY.
On the ICRC's web site appears a press release dated 12 June
1996, which says in part:
"The first issue of a publication containing information
collected from the families of 11,000 missing persons, such as
personal details and the date and place where they were last
seen, is now available at all Red Cross offices in the former
Yugoslavia ... "
If ICRC is actually publishing such extensive lists of missing
persons, the attempt of PFS to send records online to the Balkans
may be unnecessary. Can readers in the Balkans reply to this
message with some indication of the actual extent of the ICRC
initiative? Has it been advertised widely? And if so, should we
proceed with our own project? Thanks in advance -- ed
ps - The entire press release (in English) will follow.
