Hi,
Am a physicist trying to bring modern technology to the location and safe
disarming of landmines. In order to define the problem, would appreciatte
forwarding of information on: generalized location of fields, i.e. where
landmines are in areas, number of areas, where located along with
estimates, if possible, of the number of mines in these various locations.
If possible, indication of types of mines, i.e. antipersonnal, antitank,
boobytraps, etc. Know that this is asking for a lot, however, we have an
advanced technology design that can be engineered to the size of a
flashlight that will locate the position of the buried mine to an accuracy
of 5 centimeters, be able to identify the explosive in the mine and give
estimates of the amount of explosive in the individual mine. Proposed
system can be used on surface vehicles, helicopters, aircraft and robotic
vehicles as well as by individuals. Our request for information, is to
size the magnitude of the landmine problem. We are working on remotely
being able to structure time pulse radiation that will cause the mine
explosives to possibly polymerize or disassociate on command at safe
distances. We want to be of help and believe that we can. Any assistance
in obtaining the information requested will be greatfully received or any
information that can be provided that will help us get our arms around this
problem will be appreciated. Many thanks.
