To all the peoples of Bosnia, please know that many Americans are
praying for you and for peace in your lands. We are watching
the tv news, reading the papers, and many are writing to our
government officials on your behalf. We are hopeful that our
American soldiers will be able to work on your behalf to end this
war. As a nation with many different ethnic, racial and religious
groups, we are looking for lessons from Bosnia to help us learn how
to better live in peace and I hope that you find your way towards
a peace in this new year.
