I wrote some small lines supporting the plight of the people from Sarajevo

some months back, when the pipeline was young.



I believe you should know that writers and journalists from all over the

world, congregated at the Semana Negra in Gijsn had the opportunitty to

learn more about the war thanks to organizations such as Doctors without
Frontiers,

meeting with people from Spain who went with a 40 truck caravan to try to
ameliorate

the suffering, and speaking with Josi Marma Mendiluce, who was in charge
of the UN

High Commissioner during the worst part of the siege.



We knew you would prevail. You have done it, and the world has learned and
is learning

about the horrors of that war. No one can say they were unaware of atrocities.



I hope sincerely you will find not only peace and tolerance, but justice
without

hatred for those who proved their disregard for the basic things that
makes us all

human.
