No, no, no. Kissinger is right. He is always damn right. He knows
where the money is and he doesn't care about the bodycount.
Hehehehehe. Kissinger of course knows very well what the Balkans war
is all about and why it happened. He has his hands until elbows
involved in making of Yugoslav disaster. This is precisely why he finds it
necessary to continue to obfuscate the truth. Since it is obvious
that both ethnic and relligious differences are just a cover up fir
real reasons for this war (which are as it is nicely put here -
pilage and power - as they are usual prime suspects for ANY war
anywhere), it would be interesting to know why Kissinger now
*insists* that religion plays bigger role than ethnicity? This
primarily serves to undermine Bosnian Muslims - because the "same
ethnic stock" theory was promoted both by Serbs and Croats in Bosnia
denying legitimacy to Bosniacs. Some Serbs also favor this approach
because they'd like to claim that Yugoslavs were all Serbs just of
different religions, which has no historic evidence. Blame it on damn
Vatican and bloody Turks. Kissinger is a wise guy, so he probably
gains something from that approach. Let us see how this flies with
the Balkan power players:
Milosevic - he would endorse it, because if all Yugoslavs are of same
ethnic stock, most logical would be that they are all of the majority
ethnic stock - which is Serbian.
Tudjman - he would have problems with that because he tries to prrove
that Croats are separate ethnic stock, but he would endorse it in
Bosnia where he would like to prove that Muslims are islamicized
Croats (the flower of Croatian nation, as Croat nationalists use to
say).
Izetbegovic - well, he'd be against it, but who asks for an opinion
of a statesman whose state is run by multi-national occupying force?
So, as always, Kissinger plays his stakes wisely and with a clear
vision of the profit he can make out of a region.

Everything that Henry Kissinger said doesn't have to be true. This time for
example, he was wrong. The war wasn't about religion nor ethnicity, it was
about pilage and power.
