Dear Brothers and Sisters,

	I wish for you Peace, and pray that your trials will strengthen you in
faith in

Allah ta-`ala.  He alone is perfect Goodness, and encloses a hidden good
in everything

that He wills or permits.  May you guard yourself against anger, despair,
and other vices.

May you be strong in rooting out evil, and may you practice justice, but
may you always be

ready to temper your justice with mercy.  For Allah Himself has said "Inna
rahmati sabaqat

ghadabi" ("My mercy taketh precedence over my wrath") and "Man lam yarham
lam yurham"

("Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy").  May your trials
increase you in

fervent prayer, for this will always bear fruit, even if not immediately
in this life,

since He has said "Fadhkuruni adhkurkum" ("And remember Me, I will
remember thee").

	May you be also patient with the Americans and Europeans who will be among you

over the coming months.  They do not understand Islam and Muslims, and you
must show to

them the norm of the Prophet (Salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallim) in your
dealings with them,

whether they be kafirun or Ahl al-Kitab (People of the Book).  May God
guide you also in

building new bridges with your Bosnian Christian neighbors, many of whom
are good people

of faith who have been led into evil by their wretched leaders.

	May you learn perfectly, and thus be able to teach us all the meaning of the

words "'Al-'akhiratu khayrun laka mina'l-ula" ("The hereafter is better
for you than the

here-below").  Last of all, may you increase in endurance, detachment,
patience, and in

love of Allah ta-`ala.
