While I very much agree about the irritating rantings of Mr. Bennet & the
mysterious (read cowardly) "Dr. B", I strongly take exception to your
throwing Ivo into that crowd. If it's not clear, Ivo Skoric is the
*moderator* of ZaMir-Chat, i.e., the very guy who makes the list possible.
Many of the pointless contributions bear his return address when they
arrive in your mailbox, but only because some strange technical problems
requires him to forward them to the list. The occassional pieces he writes
himself, however, are consistently excellent analyses of the xYugo
situation, some of the best writing on the subject I've read anywhere. His
recent "One Article Too Late" and very amusing "UNPOFOR Duties Abroad"
especially come to mind. He was an experienced alternative journalist in
the region before moving to the US. I'd recommend anyone who's confused
about what is really his stuff to keep a closer eye at the signature lines
and read his usually long pieces with interest, as I do.
But as for Bennet & Dr. B., yes, I believe everyone on the list would agree
you'd be much better appreciated on soc.culture.yugoslavia.
Cheers,
Rick
