I was born in Zagreb. Had I been from Sarajevo, the UN would not have sent me
there. I agree with what you say, except this:
1. The Moslems can win against Karadzic alone, if the UN or NATO interdicts
access from Serbia.
2.  I doubt that it is better to be livng under the regime of a Communist
general kept in power by ustashe and nastashe.  Even in Serbia and in Russia
there has been no such theft of drustvena imovina. Kleptocracy is a mild
word.
3.  Tudjman let Susak and that troglodyte of Susak's, Praljak, send Croatian
troops to Mostar and Gorni Vakuf in 1993, and the West and the East agreed to
pretend that it was not true. The Second Zadar brigade was on the Makljen
Pass in August 1993, with the Croatian flag, the picture of Pavelic and the
map of Greater Croatia (incl. SanjaK) on the big window in the guardhouse
next to the road.  The British were there every day at least twice with UNHCR
convoys, saw all this and pretended not to see.  The Moslems do not believe
the Croats.
4.  Ivica Rajic took 50 0f his criminal body guards ("Maturice") to Vares in
November 1993 through Serb territory, not to defend Vares but to slaughter 36
Momslems in Stupni Do, so that Croats from Vares would flee instead of
staying under moslem rule.  The Croats in Sarajevo and Zenica were not
touched.  I visited doctors and teachers in both places and had lunches in
their apartments. No refugees were lodged with them, even when the only Croat
was an old widow.  At the same time, in Kiseljak, Moslems were in jail in the
Jelacic barracks, and were forced to dig trenches every day. Their women had
to bring them food. I saw them. It is a war crime. This was taking place
every day 500 meters from the UNPROFOR headquarters in Kiseljak.  While I sat
with Roso in Gorni Vakuf disussing the new Federation, mosques were being
dynamited in Kiseljak, and the Moslem pocket of Stari Vitez inside the Croat
pocket of Vitez was being shelled and sniped at. The Moslems do not believe a
thing Tudjman says.
5.  In Travnik, Vitez, and Bugojno there is enough material to build Orkan
rockets aganist the Serbs. Tudjman does not allow it. He still wants to
divide Bosnia. No one believes Tudjman.
6. Serb tanks from Ilidza used to come up to Kiseljak and Kresevo to help HVO
attack the Moslems on the road Tarcin-Fojnica. In Zepce, HVO asked a Serb
battalion in to help surround Maglaj and Tesanj.
7. Three months after the Washington agreements on the Federation, in June
1994 Moslems in Livno were not allowed to leave their few streetes, and the
racial laws had not been  repealed (no cars, no telephones, no hunting guns,
no state employment in the police, army, or administration, no business
ownership, and no professions e.g., medical, dental, legal).

The Moslems are behaving like angels to the Croats, considering what the
Croats had done. But they know that Tudjman allowed the racial laws in July
1993, and the expulsion of 60,000 Moslems into Croatia from Mostar and
Capljina, and the murder of Mostar.

8.  The Moslems know that their only Croat allies are Vinko Cardinal Puljic,
Presidents Kljujic and Komsic, and the then Provincial of the Franciscans,
Fra Petar Andjelovic.  They of course were condemned as traitors by criminals
such as Ivica Rajic and perhaps even by the crusading idealist Dario Kordic.
The Croat uprising pushed to the surface  many criminals and opportunists,
who now pretend to be good friends.

Conclusion: a passer by saw a frozen bird on the road and pushed it deep into
cow dung, in case it was not dead.  The bird revived, peeked out of the dung
and started to sing.  A fox came by, pulled the bird out, cleaned it on the
snow, and ate it.  Morale: not everyone who pushes you deep into shit is your
enemy;  not everyone who pulls you out of the sit is your friend; and if you
are deep in shit, don't sing.
The Moslems know they were pushed into shit, and many talk about pulling them
out, but the Moslems aren't singing. No sir.
