Dear sisters,
Alma and lejla jasar and family,
Its been a long time never heard any thing from you. It is very
difficult for me to sent you a letter or message from here. I hope
every thing is good in Sarajevo.
Please do not forget that you are not alone and that there are some
people who always pray for you.
Inshallah, one day will see you all. Take care of your selves and
if possible, send me a note.
Will always remember you all in my prayers. Convey my salaam to tata
and mama.
Allah Amanat
Abdul Rehman

Dear President Clinton:
The mass graves near Srebrenica, according to the Christian Science
Monitor's David Rohde, do indeed appear to confirm the eyewitness account
of the executions of Moslem men and boys.
CNN's Bill Delaney, however, interviews the Serb mayor of Srebrenica who
claims the graves contain the bodies of dead Moslem soldiers.
If that were really true, wouldn't the Serbs allow the Red Cross or the UN
to complete an immediate and thorough inspection of the site? Wouldn't the
Serbs permit the bodies to be exhumed and autopsies to be carried out in
order to determine the circumstances of death?
Serb authorities won't do that, of course, at least not until as much
evidence as possible disappears and the remains decompose.
Four years of this kind of Serb prevarication have caused many of us here
to refuse to believe anything they say.
We didn't believe them when they told Carl Bildt after the fall of
Srebrenica, that the Red Cross would be granted access to the Moslem men
and boys the Serbs took into custody. And we were right: was that access
ever granted? Whatever happened to those men and boys?
Yes, we know, they all escaped into the forest.
Here in Europe we think that whatever else may be in the forests around
Srebrenica, the ghosts of those murdered hundreds will remain there to
haunt - if not curse - the Serbs for untold years to come.
Sincerely yours,
Robert J. Bennett
