In 1996, I was arrested by two Chicago cops who were supposed to
be on gangs tactical unit patrol in the middle of a Wednesday
but took a dislike to me (being in their way during busy Cubs
traffic, having a gay sticker on my car, seeing me making notes
about their activities, apparently being among the things they
didn't like about me). So they made up some tickets against me,
plus a misconduct charge, handcuffed me, and threw me in jail.
I eventually filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against them
which should be tried in a few months (it's now Sept. '98).
My main need for information involves the hand injuries I
suffered as a result of the handcuffing and roughing up I got.
One is carpal tunnel syndrome, verfied by EMG testing. But the
defense expert, of course, is saying it's impossible to get
CTS from an event like this (I'm a professional in my 50s and
he's saying it's age-related) so I'm trying to help my attorney
show otherwise, so if you have any leads, I'd certainly
appreciate information about a text, reliable orthopedist, etc.

I was talking using only half truths that excluded many of the fundamental points that are heavily stressed in the scripture. First of all, regardless of orientation or crimes, God loves all life the same no matter what happens. Second, God doesn't hate a person for commiting a sin, it's the sin itself he hates. As the phrase goes: hate the sin not the sinner. As a christian and an evangelist, I'm tasked with the duty of spreading God's word and how he bears unconditional love for each and every one of us. If I go about trying to spread his word while bearing hatred towards another in my heart, I'm being a hippocrite and a liar. And of all sins in the bible, deception and slander is the worst in God's eyes. I'm really not a self-righteous biggot, I'm just a man who often becomes lost dabbling with the meanings of his studies. As for the issue of gay christians, I'm not entirely sure anymore if salvation applies for them as well. The key to salvation in all cases of christianity, protestant mainly, is accepting Jesus christ as our savior. I'm not sure if the key to salvation outweighs a sin though...

i accidentally stumbled across this page, and read some of the feedback on it... You think it is ok to be gay? You say God loves all men and women no matter what their sin. you say a lot of other stuff i dont care to type. Anyways i think you should be a politician or a lawyer, because you are quite skilled at twisting words. Being gay is wrong because it is knowingly sinning continually. It is not ok to sin, even though God forgives us. You use God's forgivness as a license to sin. After you realize that you are sinning you first STOP, then ask God's forgiveness. What you need, is a Pastor to talk to, not any lawyers or courts or cops. Try to find a church that is at least Christian, if not a church that is Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. I will pray for you to overcome your struggle with being gay, and you should too. Quit being a Pharisee type person that is willing to dish out the rules but not follow them himself. That's my initial response to what you have written; you ask me why i think being gay is ok, i ask you why you think it isn't. I don't believe that there is such a thing as sinning, I believe that god loves us all no matter what we have done wrong, because we are all his children. but if you have to believe in sin, you have to believe that people that people are bad, can be evil at heart, then you should understand that all queer people are doing by being queer is being the way that they were born to be. Queer-ness is not something that you can change, it's as much about naturally being in love with someone of the gender you are attracted to as being straight is. Just because being queer isn't also about having children doesn't mean it's wrong. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning." See that last word is "sinning". Sinning is doing wrong in God's eyes, and being gay is sinning. Please, i urge you to go to a pastor and talk with him, For you will surely go to hell if you do not repent from your sins and believe that Jesus is your risen Lord and God. You wonder how i stumbled on this page, I was searching for something on Google, and i saw one of the search results had such horrible language in it and wondered what filth had written it. I read the story, and while i had sympathy for you because it is sin for the cops to abuse a person for that, i also thought about how its just as bad for you to be gay. There are plenty of bible references that you can look at that say clearly that you should not be gay. if you want them id be happy to leave you with them.
