ronnie felt that to save america he would have to destroy it! he saved us from drugs by turning the cia to domestic survalience he then took more of our rights away to appease the church. he gave us new rights for big corporations and banks. he gave the police more freedom to abuse us. Then came his boy george bush who brought us a new drug war with property forfiture, even more of our rights gone. his slogans "urine tests Guilty before proven innocent" or you can't work. then clinton comes along with three strikes "ronnie george and bill" expanding everthing even more so we the people now have federal id, permanent phone taps. and mcviegh gets to be the first person executed by the federal gov.we cant elect honest representatives when we cant even talk to them without enormouse sums of money. and its the police who do all there dirty work like putting down revolution. the police act like they have a common brain that believes in nothing but serving polititions. they think everything can be solved by force when history shows no real moral change instituted by brute force.when it comes to taking away our freedom the police are standing at the front lines!

you spelled politician wrong but other than that you have some good opinions regarding this government I writing an essay for my writing class about politicians that don't keep their beautifully decorated promises to the people and I propose a that before any politician is voted into office they must sign a written contract with the people as to what they will achieve in there terms of office and if one just one promise is not upheld then this politician has broken the law and must be punished to the full extent of the law what do think sound feesable if you have any input or if you can give me any information about reagan and how he did not forfill his promises please don't hesitate to send me any information you might have and sflorex@aol.com thanks

There are a couple of foundational truths you've got to get first: Democrats are power-hungry lyers and secondly, most of the American people are stupid and make irrational comments that have no basis. Hmm,wow. How you blame Reganomics, a policy designed to shrink the federal government, for the government's increases is quite amazing. Why not go for the obvious culprits -- the ones who all the time say they want to increase the size of the government -- the liberals and the democrats. George Bush was not "his boy". If you would look at the facts the year that Bush took office one of the biggest economic policy changes in history. It was second only to the implement of supply-side economics of Oct.1 1981. It is sad that your information is so twisted. You cant even appreciate how supply-side theory works. It was the reason for the greatest economic expansion in american history. Inflation and unemploymet rates droped at a record pase (25% in three years). Reagan is a wonderful man and an excelent leader. His resolved the Cold War with Russia and was fundamental in brining down the Burlin wall. If we ever have another president that is one-half the president that Reagan was we will be blessed. The cato wabcite anong with the Reagan information page will provide statistical proof to back up all of the claims that I have made.
I do not like the idea of Reganomics either, The trickle down effect only gives the people on top more power. Although most politicians are idiots you must take into account that the public often likes shitheads that claim to lower taxes and bring the economy up. Also America is one of the best places you could live in terms of rights to live here. The fact that people are greedy is what needs to be overcome. Whether it is a state of Anarchy or Democratic rule, there will never be 100%human equality.

regan did not in anyway destroy america. his economic policy, that was so widely criticized resulted in the economic boom of the 1990's. why is it so hard for people to understand that when you lower taxes, government revenue increases? maybe bc it doesnt happen overnight, but over many years. he was truely one of the greatest presidents in the history of the united states, he was the great motivator.

the summary of Federal Individual Income Tax data showed that the top 10% of taxpayers paid 72.6% of all the taxes collected in 2001, whereas the bottom 50%of taxpayers only paid 4.1%. do these figures seem a bit disproportional to anyone? the upper class are being taxed out of their minds compared to the lower class. for those liberals out there who think that tax cuts are wrong bc they only benefit the upper class, do your homework....just the top 10% of income earners pay roughly 18 times more taxes than the entire bottom 50%!! they are the ones who deserve the tax breaks. and just a note, when you lower taxes, government revenue increases. Even JFK (a democrat)realized this, and this was the idea behind Regans (a democrat, until "..the democratic party left him..") trickle down effect- which resulted in the economic boom of the 1990's.
