The end of May 2,000 saw this Canadian city of 650,000 go further into the
toilet than ever before.
Operation Clean Sweep - Police target hookers, dealers and thieves in the
largest ever attack on street crime. Notice, the police have not yet targeted
themselves, nor has the New Democratic Party of Manitoba, the party of the people,

into place to take away the Winnipeg Police Service's right to investigate itself.

that the Winnipeg Police Service's arrests of alleged Manitoba Warriors (street
gang) are racially motivated and systemic against the aboriginal peoples. So far 15
alleged members have taken plea bargains concerning charges laid against them. It
has taken so long to get to trial , the trial judge has determined that only 8 or 9
members can be tried at once. Many of the accused are out of jail because time
being held was considered time spent in jail and the charge if found guilty would
have led to a lesser penalty! The situation seems an issue with no end yet there are
those that say the court room will come to good use as Conservative era, provincial
civil servants are soon to be brought up on charges and space will be required to
hear them and seat them all!
Winnipeg, The City At War. In one May weekend 3 young people in
unrelated beatings in the city die! The streets are out of control it is said! Does
anyone wonder why this is happening? When the public sees and hears the publicity
when off duty police and corrections (penal) officers duke it out on the streets near
a "cop bar" and there have been no arrests and all kinds of cases of short term
memory loss, who cares anymore? The messages coming out of Winnipeg is that
savagery and brutality are just fine from the highest level of society to the lowest!
The message that corruption and malfeasance is par for the course and as a
taxpayer you should shut up and continue to pay for it! Call Emergency 911, maybe
they will answer your call !
Winnipeg's lack of discipline or for that matter a lack of discipline in
Manitoba is rooted in Manitoba's acceptance of Conservative principles and
ideologies that people will take care of their own affairs and business, not
government! Now that Manitoban's have had over a decade of Filmon-
Conservatives come to an end, how do Manitoban's like it? It ended with the job
losses and dislocations under NFTA, Expanding food banks to help the remainder
of the working poor, Canada's largest call center capital requiring cheap labour,
Downgraded labor laws, Neutered environmental laws, Aboriginal Justice Inquiry,
Immigrant exploitation, Police abuse/brawls/conflicts of interest/prisoner
beating/100% tolerance of child beating/crook protection & midnite rides etc.,
Lotteries frauds, Emergency 911 (Winnipeg invented it!) going down the toilet (they
either respond or you might be dead if you don't!), The rise of street gangs of the
disadvantaged and disenfrancihised, Attempted murder charges flying at the
Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba, the suicides on WCB properties and
screwed WCB claimants pulling guns on thier former employers! Had enough?
Added to all this if you are so unlucky as to get hurt as an innocent or
otherwise bystander or visitor, in this fair city?, the hostility reported from a
commissioned study, between Winnipeg nursing staff and the paramedics equates to
the ambulance response time, that could end your life as an end result, is going too
far!
Everyone is asking if the New Democratic Party's rise to power will bring
meaningful change to any of this? With NDP MLA's claming up and not replying
to their correspondence on issues of the day coming from the public or MLA,s
claiming they are powerless to the constituents who elected them, when their help is
requested, the answer seems obvious. When the NDP rewards over blown and over
publicized conservative (Filmon- Conservative) government era political hack, ex-
University of Manitoba professor types like - Wally Fox-Decent (then (when there
were suicides at WCB) and now chairman (with allegations of attempted murder
being flung) of the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba) with another
chairmanship (payoff) in the form of chairing the Province of Manitoba's - Labour
Management Review Committee, Manitoban's might as well resign themselves that
we are all going to hell and the toilet in a hand basket! There are those that are
saying that the same conditions that produced national socialism (Nazis) and Facism
are not far off. The more people want to see change, the more it stays the same or
in our case (Winnipeg's and Manitoba's) it gets worse! Give us a charismatic leader,
maybe we will get ever closer!
We urge people contemplating visiting or staying in this city or province to
think real hard about their decisions again. Should you/they feel the need for high
adventure, to bring their own body armor. It might be the only thing to save you
when warring parties find you in their crossfire! By the way, make sure it carries a
DOT or Department of Transport approved label on the each part of the armor, we
wouldn't want visitors get charged and fined would we, dead or alive in Canada,
they like to collect, be they taxes or not!

I think my opinion may do something to this world we live in called Winnipeg. If you build a system of learning and no one fully uses it, what have you? I believe this is the ghetto we see. Everyone's ancestors got fucked over in one way or another. Mine got screwed out of their factories in England during the 1st world war because the government needed them to build weapons. They lost everything. I don't dwell on that or use it as an excuse why my life sucks.
