Urgent....Governor Ridge has signed Mumia's Death Warrant!

1. Join our Emergency Response Network.

We need to be able to contact you for emergency activities if Gov. Ridge signs Mumia's death warrant. We have a complete program of action ready should this day come. Please call 215-476-8812 with your phone numbers, fax numbers, work numbers, cell phone numbers, e- mail addresses, and street addresses; And your pledge to get involved!


2. Funds are urgently needed to help finance Mumia's legal defense.

urging Governor Tom Ridge to reinvestigate Mumia's unfair trial, and to not sign any more death warrants, for anybody!

Send letters to editor to Phila. Inquirer & Daily News especially, demand that they print the Mumia's side of the story, and to stop being pro-death penalty.

10 Listen to Mumia's taped radio commentaries

and ask your local radio station to air them if they are not already doing so.

11 Mark your calendar for March 28, 1995, and join us in Harrisburg, PA for a rally

and press conference at the State Capitol Rotunda. The rally, sponsored by CURE, will include prisoners right's advocates, anti-death penalty groups, welfare rights groups, and others concerned about justice for the poor, the homeless, those in prison, etc. Help organize buses or car pools from your area! Call 215-476- 8812 for more information. Carry Mumia's picture and name on your sign.

12 Join the ongoing demonstration every Thursday, 8-9 am

in front of the State Office Building, Broad and Spring Garden, Philadelphia. Other demonstrations at selected Convention Center [at Mariott site] events, including upcoming Association of Black Journalists 20th Anniversary gathering.

13 Volunteer

your typesetting, layout, photography or other skills to help make flyers, posters, letters, t-shirts, buttons, etc. Call 215-476-8812. We can always use your office skills.

14 We have also begun hooking Mumia's cause into the Internet Network.
