Date of birth is Oct.30,1979.Semir's father was a professor of engineering at the University of Sarajevo before it was destroyed. His mother was also employed at the university.He was to come to the U.S. to complete his education and we were to be his host family.His visa was denied because he was considered a refugee. His home was destroyed. We know he was with his familt in a shelter in Croatia. We want to try to help him through private efforts. The group that assist the students has moved on to other people,but we can't for get Semir that easily.This is the second student that we have failed to be able to help. The first Emir Hadzic completely vanished with his entire family.We just hope that he is alive. Any help that can be given in trying to locate Semir Hasanbegovic would be greatly appreciated. I sure he is a disapointed young man and we will take him any time we can get the visa approved and he needs to know that. Thank you. Becky Crowder
