He stated that the real issue is religion rather than ethnicity and that most of the people of that region are of the same ethnic stock. I tend to agree with him. I would like to learn more about this and hear from anyone who can shed light on the subject. This is crucial to the understanding of the conflict and the leaders and politicians cannot make proper decisions about B-H without understanding this. I would like to hear from anyone there that cares to correspond with me. I've never been to Bosnia but I saw the horrible photos and news stories about your suffering on TV and couldn't forget about it. So I researched the conflict and was so horrified by what I learned that I wrote a novel about it. No one has published it yet, but I'm still trying. I found Bosnian music and played it while I wrote the book. One song in particular inspired me: Il' je vedro, Il' oblacno. I want you to know that through it all, there were ordinary people like me around the world, thinking of you. I pray the worst is over. Jilla (from the U.S.A.)
