Over grown bully picks on mentally ill

A man who is know to have a mental problem got gas at a casey's store in Greenvalley IL. He did not have cash on him like he thought so he left his photo I.D. and said that he would return later with the money. When he did not return before the draw was closed out, the clerk phoned it in as stolen gas. The Tazewell County Police, who are not smart enough to realize that theifs do not leave their photo I.D. so that they will be easily found.

The mentally ill man was startled in the early morning hours with the police pounding on his door. In the state of mind that he was in, he was paranoid and thought that the police where "OUT TO GET HIM". He yelled through the door that if the officer came in, he would cut him up. I MIGHT ADD THAT THIS PARTICULAR OFFICER (Bob Lickiss)IS SAID BY THOSE GROWING UP IN A NEAR BY TOWN OF MACKINAW, TO PULL A GUN BOTH ON AND OFF DUTIE. HE IS ALSO SAID TO BE KNOWN TO HARASS THE FAMILY OF THIS MAN. The man came out of his door with the knife in his hand. He tried to flee on his motercycle but in his state of mind he thought that he could not get it to start. The officer testified that the man kept turning it on and off. After several demands from the officer to throw the knife down, the officer fired (at close range I might add) and MISSED. The man ran and was later caught by another officer. He was stepped on and 'manhandled'.

This man was not evaluated until 3 months after he was arrested and charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER TO AN OFFICER. He faced 20 to 80 yrs. He did not get his medication until 8 months after he was arrested. The Judge in the case found him guilty and he is now serving a 25 yr. sentence in the 2nd. worst prison in the state. The states attorney in Tazewell County is know for "MAKING EXAMPLES OF THOSE HE WANTS TO CHARGE WITH BREAKING THE LAW" He is an out of control "THING" who has even prosecuted a '5' year old boy. He seems to want to go down in history as being the MODERN DAY BARNEY FIFE. He wants to clean up the town and doesn't have the guts to use a gun. He shows no compassion, not even for the mentally ill. He has no knowledge of mentally ill whats so ever. There was no justice in this case. Tazewell county is SCUM.
