King county Sherriffs girlfriend gets pass on felonies when boyfriend responds to all calls

3-22-2001 To Whom It May Concern: . This is a synopsis of events that detail a clear pattern on discrimination, violation if my civil rights, inaction based on personal relationship between a King County Sherriff's Deputy ( Gross)and his girlfriend the offender and blatant refusal to grant equal protection under the law and character assassination and slander based on heresay. This is the situation as it unfolded, in the later part of 2000 I sold a neighbor Dina Linn some computer software and performed some computer update work for her and loaned her money. The result of this was her giving me checks written on closed accounts, After one of our conversations she called her boyfriend police officer Gross .and stated I was scaring her because she owed me money. He asked her was it a drug debt, she told him I Probably did sell drugs. Officer Gross promptly informed my apt mgr( Betty Handley) who then began eviction proceedings against me (after 6 plus months of no complaints) and also made calls to several residents seeking to have residents identify me as a problem person she then began a stream of false paper work against me attributing actions to me that never occurred and planted seeds of libel in new tenants minds about me and my activities I promptly filed a King County civil rights complaint against the complex, where my advocate reached a settlement with the apt complex Officer Gross approached me about this complaint and also confronted me that I had Been injured by a metro bus and the "County wasnt going to give me a dime " and took personal umbrage that I was "using his county"and how dare I file a complaint based on discrimination and" I better watch myself you are heading for a fall" And that I need to get out of town because I'm being watched, these statements happened on more than one occasion. I Dwayne Weems have never been charged with any drug crime or felony of any sort. I learned that my character was officially libeled on 25th of feb , 2001 when I reported someone in the neighborhood selling stolen property and and stiking me with their vehicle while leaving the scene after I questioned the legality of their items. When the officer responded he questioned me about me drug using and selling activities and showed little interest in the crime I reported, he referred to a King County Database of some sort that me labeled a drug seller. On the 26 of feb my neighbor Dina Linn was driving down the street in front of our home obviously impaired by alchohol making S's with her vehicle. I motioned for her to stop and removed her from her vehicle and parked it before she killed someone, as I walked her up the stairs she fell out and regurgitated several times when she reached her apt and opened door she again vomited and passed out I called 911 and requested aid car and police because of our history and her past untruths. Help arrived and she assaulted them verbally and physically and made many threats of violence against me for calling police and made accusations of me stealing her stuff in front of as many as 10 workers.(they praised me, thanked me for my help and the call.) They secured her apt and transported her , The next day 27 feb she knoceked on my door several times shouting threats and accusing me of taking her keys phone and tv, I did not answer the door. On the 28 feb about 12:00 noon I exited my apt and Dina Linn came out of her apt with a nearly empty bottle of Tequila and said" where are my keys motherfucker" and struck me in the chest with her fist. I left the bldg borrowed a phone and also called 911 no fewer than 3x from the landscapers phone. As she drove around the block several times. Officer Gross her boyfriend and another officer arrived found her behind the wheel, car running he removed her and left with her for about a hour then returned with her as she shouted profanity and threats at me as they went into her apartment. I left and went to visit friends and go to the store upon me arrival home about 2 to 3 hours later I witnessed her carrying my tv into her apt along with a sledgehammer and a machete leaning against the wall; I went down to my apt and indeed it had been broken into. I noticed a employee of greentree apts outside as I first approched(Anthony) I told him what had occurred, he called Betty the mgr, then I called police from his cell phone. Betty came and saw the damage to the apt along with other maintenence men. Again officer Gross arrived then shortly thereafter what apperaed to be 3 tactical officers. They asked to search her apt , she refused , Officer Gross said they needed a search warrant. I then questioned the officer about why she was not questioned or arrested for the assault or drinking and driving. he sail he did not "witness the assault and when you get people hooked on drugs they act that way" then I asked him why she was not arrested for DUI he said"the car was'nt moving and it is in the officer discretion" He then forcefully told me to go back to my apt, I stood on the stairs below as Officer Gross told the tactical officers that I'm a drug dealer and this is over drugs" he knows the apt mgr and he will take care of it(the tactical officers left) officer gross came to my apt , I allowed him to search it for her belongings.he found none ( 'he stated she really is batty") as we went to his car to complete trhe report the maintence men Dean and John and one other attended to my damaged door. after about 10 minutes the workers camre to the car and told us a tv just came flying out of 268 and landed on the stairs in front of 268 . we went in and it was my tv. I asked the officer what now, he said it was no proof she did it there are only 2 apts on that floor and the other was unoccupied. Officer GRoss had me return my tv to my apt( then a thought hit my mind what if I had been home when she burst in with that machete and sledgehammer in a drunken rage) so much for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I asked the officer for a report #,he said he was still working on it. Officer Gross left the scene 2 days later I called the King County Sherriff skyway office to get a report # they said dont have one yet, I informed them that other items were missing also( a money order, steaks,cable box) Everyone I talked to in the meantime, neighbors( one of whom who witnessed the burgarly but does not want to get involved because of fear of the King County Sheriff and their inaction). the apt mgt and workers and friends are horrified that no charges were filed against this person maybe 2 or 3 times over the next several days Dina Linn stated to me in passing why haven'nt you moved yet motherfucker. On 3 -14-2001 , I entered the E bldg and was walking down to my apt, I heard her door open and Dina said " I am never going to jail over you motherfucker" and struck me in the head and neck with 2 objects( thick blue drinking glasses I had seen her using before) I fell ,struck my head on the wall and passed out) I recovered and called 911 from apt 289 and pleaded for police and aid car and begged them to send a supervisor and not Larry Gross )I called again and again as I was on the phone Dina LInn fled the scene, finally her boyfriend Larry Gross arrived with deputy S.A. MOrrain or similar name. I told them what happened they told me I have no credibility. and Deputy S.A morrain , asked me when was I moving and if I was smart I would get out of here and fast.I also asked officer Gross about the burgarly report and he said"what burgarly?"I was transported to hospital where they diagnosed a possible C-spinal injury and head trauma and swelling and I am having headaches and blurred vision to this day. THat evening as I returned from Harborview medical( where I talked to a social worker who contacted the patrol sgt don davis to inform him of my fears) when I exited the bus a king county sherifff car was in the lot of the bowling alley( which has surveillence cameras) a deputy asked if I was weems and told me I'm going to end up in handcuffs or sleeping get out of skyway and king county 3-16 officer larry gross was in front of my bldg in his car as I exited he asked me have you got anything illegal on you .I said absolutely not and turned around and returned in horror to my apt. With the cloud facilitated by the King county Sherriffs office and its accomplice Greentree village apts over my integrity and character and refusing to ackknowledge crimes against my property and person. I can only visualize a horrific nightmare Members of my family in law enforcement have assured me my civil rights have been violated at the same time I am terrified that I have become a primary target of the KIng County Sherriffs office, I illuminate these facts with fear and trembling; I am one traffic stop, one search , one sworn officers testimony away from a certain prison term or maybe a loss of my life by Dina Linn hands or their own. I did not serve my country dutifully to protect freedom and defend the constitution to endure this terror, no law abiding citizen should have to endure this. I need legal help and investigation all the facts will defend the veracity of these facts. D Weems -
