Female Cop's false arest of Grandparents

Well the charges are obstructing a P/O and false inprisonment. Total bail $3000.00 each. My wife & I made the mistake of tring to help her 22 year old daughter pull her life back together. She has a 6 month old baby from one young man who has denied the child and is involved with another who has had her evicted, had her car inpounded and subsiquently reposessed because she couldnt aford to get it out of impound. She is penny less and homeless. But this all brings us to Monday 8/26/01. She (The daughter) called the El Dorado county sheriffs to report that my wife & I would not let her leave our home. This comes on the heals of us finding out that she was still seeing boy #2. We had just returned home after being gone for approximately one and a half hour taking our children to their first day of school. During this time the fat lazy bitch was home alone but chose to wait until we were pulling in to call the Sheriff. So after being home for about 10 - 15 minutes a female sheriff showed up I walked out of the bathroom to find her in my entry. I asked what was going on and she stated she was there on a stand by. I said a stand by for what & she replied to let her and the baby leave undisturbed. I asked leave what the $15.00 per hour we were paying her not to do the job we gave her? or leave the free room & board? We explained to the officer that if she leaves she is homeless and destitude. We explained that we had filed charges with CPS against her prior to her coming home and her responce was she did not care. My wife and I continued to urge our daughter to stop this and tell the officer to go away and not to do this and the officer kept interjecting telling me to shut up, to calm down and not to move from my entry. I told the cop I was going to call 911 and ask them if she can treat me this way in my own home and started into the kitchen to get the phone. I took one step and she jumped forward shoving me into the wall with her left hand and had her right hand over her gun and held me there. I looked into her face and she didnt say a word. I finally said what the hell are you doing? She said stay here! I said why can I not leave my entry and walk into my kitchen to call 911 to find out if what you are doing is leagal. She replied there are to many things that can be used as weaponds in the kitchen. I said ok I can understand that and she should have said that but had no right to touch me. She immediatly got off me and pulled a pad and pen from her shirt and asked my name. I gave her my first and last name. She said middle and my wife said not to give it to her but I did. At that time I told my wife to bring me the phone as she was already in the kitchen. The cop the said birthdate, I did not reply and again told my wife to bring me the phone she said birthdate again so I told her I wanted her name and badge # she said I would get it I said no I want it now so she said birthdate again. I again told my wife to bring me the phone and the cop put away her pen and pad and told me to turn around. Being what had already happened I figured I better not put up a fuss so I did. She cuffed my left wrist and tring to force my right arm around I told her she needed to use a second set of cuffs she did but cranked them down on my wrist's. She then walked me to the car never telling what I was being charged with or reading me my rights(I now know I dont have any). She returned to my house where she walked in and right up to my wife and demanded her name. My wife told her you are here to get her out of here so just do it and go away. She again demanded her name my wife told her she chooses to reserve her rights and at no time is willing to waive her right and does not wish to make any statement at this time. She asked again and my wife responded the same. The officer said that my wife was obstructing. My wife said obstructing what? The cop responded her investigation. My wife asked are you investigating me? The cop again asked for her name she repeated the same as before as to her rights and the cop grabbed her arm and twisted it behing her and walked her out to the car where she cuffed her and put her in the car with me. The back up cop arrived and (HE) started talking to us and after I told him what was going on said that women cops react differatly than men and he thought this whole situation was a little out of control. He also stated that her wouldnt have treated it in the same manner. He spoke with the Female cop and came back to us to report that she was truely arresting us. We went to jail where we sat for 4 hour unitl we could get bailed out. The funny side note in this is the next morning I called the desk Sgt. and told him I wanted to press assault charges against the Sheriff and he laughed and said how are you going to perss charges against a Sheriff? (Scarry HUH) If a stranger had done the same thing to me that she had I would have no proble pressing charges but when they where a badge they are ammune. The minute she walked into my home I had no rights. Well sorry for the long read.
