I'm a 16 year old female who was in a car full of people a while back being chased by a drunk dr iver that almost killed us. We went through 6 towns going 75-80 mph the whole way. We never stop ped at any stop signs. This was in a neighborhood. The police didn't even come to help us until half an hour later, but by then the drunk driver was gone. That must have been the scariest thin g that's ever happened to my friends and I in our whole lives. Cops are supposed to be out to he lp us, aren't they? I know how upset you must have been.
What a fucking loser YOU are. When YOU grow up and learn to accept responsibility for your actions..... Don't blame the cop for YOU being an idiot!!!
I think the police officer should have been punished. He knowingly put innocent lives in danger to make a bust.
HELLO, morons did you know that the police are not lawfully bound to protect you. See recent California Supreme Court ruling in Feb 99 on this. Do you know what the Law states to qualify for DUI? Maybe in your state you actually have to be driving the car to qualify for DUI. In Tennessee where I police for a living, you only have to have "the ability" to drive to be DUI. That means if you are standing next to a vehicle that is not running and you have the keys in your pocket and you are drunk than you are DUI. Also, the police officer did not place anyone in danger. The dumbass drunk did. Maybe the police officer thought that if he made himself visible to this idiot than he wouldn't drive away drunk. Obviously, the officer gave this idiot a chance to avoid a DUI but he didn't take it. Learn to accept responsibility for you actions, grow up.
IF YOU YOU WERE OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAR TAKING A PISS YOU COMMENTED A MINOR OFFENSE, BUT WHEN HE STOPPED TO TALK TO YOU MOST DRUNKS CAN TAKE A HINT AND CALL A CAB, MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE BEAT YOU WITH HIS NIGHT STICK SO YOU COULD SUE AND GET RICH LIKE THE OTHER LOW LIFES THAT ARE UPSET BECAUSE THEY GOT CAUGHT
Now this is interesting, more foul language from 'COPS' who can't handle a little critisisim. well this seems to be a pattern. I hope this isn't indicative of the majority. But i think all you need to do is read the various comments by obvious 'COPS' in these excerpts to figure it out.. I sure feel safe, knowing the cops aren't LEGALLY BOUND to protect citizens..
I can't figure out if your bitching because he did his job or didn't do it.
This is one of the stupidest stories I have ever heard! Man, you are one dumb asshole. And what exactly should the cop have done, made you some coffee and taken you to a motel? You should have been busted for pissing and exposing your penis to the public, you moron!
My life was almost taken by someone like you. Don't send out invitations for this pity party that you are trying to have. You were coherent enough to know that you should not drive but you did it anyway. I don't blame the cop, I would have set you up the same way. And what if you killed that night? THEN WHAT?
The police officer allowed you to perform an illegal act, which is against the law at least in this state.(Indiana.) It happened to my husband at a McDonald's. While he was inside to order food, an officer came in to ask him to move his truck then was busted for O.W.I. It was throwed out of court. He just did a year's house arrest and get's off probation this month because an officer came to our house and said he had heard that he had drove earlier in the day, and was CONVICTED. Bum Rap.
Afew years back, in l990, I was drunk and standing by my car. The police drove up to me and asked what I was doing. I told him I was taking a leak. He drove off. I was obviously drunk, could barely stand-up, bleary-eyed, slurring words. Being drunk I got in the car to drive away (stupid) and when I got on the highway, the cop pulled out of his hiding place and pulled me over to arrest. My point is, that even though I was wrong for drunk driving; the cop let me get back into my car and proceed, totally drunk onto a major highway, just so he could bust me. What if I had hurt someone on the highway? Do you think the cop would have been punished? I think not. Poor police work. But he made the bust.>>>> and if you wouldve been busted while standing near your car you would be on here bashing the cops for harrassing you. take responsibility for your own actions.
I take it this was a State trooper you are referring to?
Under what provisions did you want the cop to stop you? Up to the point you drove, you hadn't done anything wrong If you were stupid enough to get behind the wheel of a car and drive, that' your fault.
This person is clearly an idiot.
Is this guy for real? Can anyone take any responsibility for thier own actions? Nope. You screw up but its not your fault. "The cop let me get back in my car and proceed". That is beautiful, you rocket scientist
Talk about a "professional" victim. What kind of a moron are you that you believe YOUR drunk driving is the fault of this police Officer GROW UP and start taking responsibility. Maybe he should have arrested you for indecent exposure??? How'd you like that on your record???? MORON
When you were urinating the cop spoke to you, you weren't doing anything wrong. Maybe he even told you not to drive. You were probably to drunk to remember. You put yourself in the car. Accept responsibility.
on this one about the cop letting you drive drunk the cop got you of the road anyway and if he didn't and you got home you would been all happy about it and makeing a joke about it to friends how you got off and the only resson why you r mad is you got pulled over and bagged, yes the cop should of p.c. you before you got back into the car but the law around that r tricky so he bagged you for dui so hay douse that a least wake you up
Oh my god, you are an idiot.
Would you have learned a lesson if there were no consequences for your actions? If you had not been busted you may have drove drunk many more times, increasing the risk of an accident. The average DWI 1st offense suspect drives drunk more than 80 times per year. Take respnsibility for your actions instead of criticizing others!
Hey, the officer should be busted as well too. If it your first offense, then you will receive what judge sentenced, as for cop, he should be punished as well some I heard is 6 months suspension without pay or with pay depending on individual state. It's not poor police work, some just let drunk drivers off the hooks, some saw relatives or best friends and chose not to arrest them but scold them at homes. Picture this, officers let the worse drunk drivers off the hook by letting them drive, while they arrest slightly or mild drunks, does that make sense? Nooooooo, I don't think so. Where are the good friendly cops go? Nowadays we have bad cops in each division since the rise of former officer Perez. GrRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....Whitewolf
Hey dumbass He could not prove you were driving at the time when he first saw you so quit crying and call a cab next time. If you need further encouragement to cease your dangerous habits contact your local highway patrol office and ask to see some of their traffic fatality pictures. If that does not get your attention then you just don't care.
A few month back in New Mexico, a cop pulled into a car wash. While backing out he hit another car. The owner of the other car smlled booze on the cops breath. They found a half bottle of voldka under the front seat of the cops car...all he got was payed leave. Boy, anyone else driving under the influence like the cop what have been handcuffed, job lose, ect. Funny how the cops can break their own laws and get payed leave...
You were right the first time "STUPID"
A similar thing happened to me and I'm outraged. I had a designated driver they arrested him and gave me the keys i could barely stand up they knew i was drunk but they too got their bust They are supposed to protect all people even drunks!!! Did you fight your case? Entrappment????
YOUR SUCH A LOOZER MAN, your a drunk who is bitching because he got caught..lol Cry somewhere else cause those of us that don't wish to have our love ones killed by a drunk on the highway don't care
dude, man...it took me 2 times to learn a damn lesson on not drinking and driving, the first one i am taking diversion on...and luckily i hired a pretty good lawyer to get me off the 2nd one...the point is i learned my lesson the hard way and learned that drinking and driving aint' worth it..i walk or get a ride from someone if i get tanked up. Accept responsibility and move on, it's all you can do
i see what you are saying. It is wrong. I am behind you
Boo hoo! Grow up. Don't drive drunk!
I was busted twice and both time the cops lied in court.....I beat my charge both times!!
Iam now publishing a website with the arguments to get you off your charge. But the Lesson here is DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE but the point here is 2 wrongs don't make a right. I only faught my charges because I knew cops lied on their reports and also most devastating lied in a court of law. I learned my lesson....Do you think the cops did?? What do you think? How bad will they cover up the next time they screw up to save their asses. What if it means someone's life or future in thire own careers.
Man this is a great story, I m sorry about the outcome and everything but at least you know that you were wrong for driving. I have a couple of questions though. I go to a small school in Indiana where the police officers have targeted a group of people and keep trying to bust them. It seems like they just go around and try to stir up trouble. My question is do you know of any groups that can help in a situation like this? All the individuals are of age to drink but it seems that this officers feel that it is their duty catch these individuals for anything and everything. This past week alone 30 people have been arrested and the school I attend only has 900 students! Anyway I am trying to figure out if there is any legal action I can take police harassment email if you have any info for me! Thanks! Joe Camacho jacamacho@manchester.edu
READ THIS BOOK "IN THE MIST OF ANCIENTS" PIGS, I MEAN COPS LOVE IT. BY THE WAY THE ONLY TIME A COP IS A BAD COP IS WHEN HE BREAKS THE LAW THAT HE ENFORCES ON OTHERS. AND IN THAT CASE HIS NOT A COP, BUT A FUCKING PIG!!! AND LEARN YOUR RIGHTS AND POLICE TACTICS. COPS BY LAW DON'T HAVE TO SERVE AND PROTECT ANYONE BUT THEMSELF'S. WHICH IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS WHY A PIG CAN BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF SOMEONE OR EVEN KILL AND GIVE THE EXCUSE THAT HE FELT HE WAS IN DANGER OR SCARED WHEN IN REALITY HE JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE PERSON AND IT FELT GREAT TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF SOMEONE. BUT REMEMBER THIS, IF A COP, WELL NOT A COP IF HE OR SHE IS BREAKING THE LAW, BUT A PIG, HITS YOU, YOU DO HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO HIT BACK EVEN IF IT MEANS KILLING THE UNLAWFUL PIG IN ORDER TO SAVE YOUR LIFE AND WELL BEING. BUT CHANCES ARE YOU WON'T WIN, PIGS ALWAYS BEAT BIGGER PEOPLE IN A GROUP NOT ON A ONE ON ONE BASIS UNLESS YOU ARE SMALL IN BUILD AND THE PIG KNOWS YOUR ASS IS HIS. AND PROSECUTERS ALWAYS DEFEND PIGS IN COURTROOMS NO MATTER WHAT THE CASE. IT'S A SHAME THEY ARE VERY LITTLE GOOD COPS, HECK POLICE OFFICERS, BUT THERE IS A SHIT LOAD OF PIGS, LAW BREAKERS AND ABUSERS, PEOPLE WITH NO SELF CONTROL THAT ARE WEARING BADGES. PERSONALY KNOWING AND HAVING INTERACTED WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONEL, I CAN TELL YOU THAT MOST DO HAVE A REAL SHITTY ATITTUDE, NO FREINDS EXCEPT THERE DOGS AT HOME AND OTHER CO-WORKERS AND MAYBE A BIMBO WIFE THAT WORSHIPS AND SUPPORT THEM EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT MEET A COP THAT AS DENIED SMACKING HIS WIFE AT LEAST ONE OR TWO TIME IN THERE MARRIGE. IF YOU ARE A GOOD GUY A TRUE POLICE OFFICER REMEMBER THIS, LOOKING THE OTHER WAY AND NOT ARRESTING A FELLOW CO-WORKER WHILE KNOWING HE OR SHE IS A ABUSIVE PERSON TOWARDS THE PUBLIC AND CONDUCTS THEMSELF IN A UNLAWFUL MATTER MAKES YOU JUST AS BAD AS THEM {THE PIGS}. HELP YOUR FELLOW OFFICERS GET RID OF THE FILTH IN YOUR DEPARTMENT AND WEAR THE BADGE WITH HONOR. LET THE PUBLIC SEE THE POLICE AS A POSITIVE NOT A NEGATIVE!!!!!!
there is no excusse for this action!!!
there is no excusse for this action!!!
This website has barley no information it has a 30 second paragraph about dome guy taking a wiz by his car!
Yeh thats some bullshit man.
I just actually read through all this shit...and Ive gotta say...most of you are fucking morons. While you preach "ethics" and "morals" you defend a cop that unlawfully let this dude drive drunk. Thats not very ethical of him is it? So all you fucks that are defending the cop on a moral basis need to shut the fuck up. Now, for all of you that argue on the legal point of view, youre also wrong. Cops take a vow similar to doctors that say they swear to uphold the law and honorably do their duty...to say this is honorable is complete bullshit. So fuck yall too...now Im not sayin that this dumbass shouldve been even enar his car...he shouldnt have at all. That was fuckin stupid of him...
I was a cop for 8 years, I also got set up on a dui charge. The city cop watched me drive away from a bar, then called ahead to his county buddies who made a dui stop and arrest. Of course I refused the intoximeter test, don't ever take one, but it cost me a conviction of Implied Consent and my job. I will be filing a civil lawsuit and demanding a jury trial against the city cops,

I think that the cop should have got punished because that was not the right thing to do! If i was the boss i would have fired him for any duty done.
i think it was wrong for the policeman to just let the person drive on the main highway. I mean someone could have been killed, it's ridiculous
I most certainly would have fired the policeman because their jobs are to help the community and by allowing the drunk person back on the road, they were endangering the driver's life as well as every other driver on the road.
Or maybe that was just a bad move on your part?
